Lora Marie Oberhofer was born in Munich, Germany to American parents who were both in the Army. Once their posting in Munich was complete, the family moved to El Paso, Texas where she spent her elementary school years attending Catholic school, then transferring to public school. There she became involved in tennis and competed successfully at an elite level all over the southwestern states. After eighth grade, the family moved to Los Angeles where she began high school. It was there she became involved in the entertainment industry. Her first job was working in film and television projects as a background artist while still in high school. She had a few insignificant acting roles in some major productions such as Grease, Big Wednesday, American Hot Wax, Happy Days, and Barretta. She also became involved in the music industry wanting to become a singer and doing some showcases and small shows. During that time, she was present and observing artists in recording sessions with Billy Preston, L.A. Express, Rolling Stones, and Leon Russell. Kim Fowley, a long time music producer, recruited her to be a singer in the all female rock group The Runaways. Unfortunately, Lora's father, a strict military authoritarian, refused to give permission for her to be in the group, as she was still a minor at that time and they would be traveling to do a music tour in Japan. Eventually, she decided to seek work out of the spotlight and in the finance side of the industry. Her first job was at Warner Brothers Studio working as a payroll accountant on a series of Clint Eastwood films and several television series including Dukes of Hazzard, Maverick, and Night Court. After marriage and having children, she took some time off. She volunteered in an organization that raised funding and donations of prizes for a golf tournament to help victims of fires and was the editor of their annual newsletter. When the children were older, Lora came back to work in production finance for Bunim Murray Productions, Inc. where she has worked for the past 11 years as both a freelance accountant and line producer for Keeping Up With the Kardashians and now MTV's the Challenge Series. She travels extensively to international locations and continues to work in production finance.- Katelyn Salmont was born on 7 September 1986 in Santa Clarita, California, USA.
